Event : SG Run 2019
Date : 19 October 2019 (Saturday)
Time : 5:00pm (5km Fun Run) / 6:00pm (21km and 32km) / 6:30pm (10km)
Venue : Gardens by the Bay East (Next to Passion Wave @ Marina)

Race Route : Gardens by the Bay East / Marina Barrage / Marina East Drive / East Coast Park / Gardens by the Bay East. (Race route is not confirmed and subject to change)

All finisher of SG Run 10km, 21km and 32km will receive an Ultimate Direction running singlet, finisher T-shirt and finisher medal. 5km Fun Run participants will each receive an event T-shirt and a finisher medal.

Race Route

Gardens by the Bay East /  Marina Barrage, Gardens by the Bay South, Tanjong Rhu Promenade / East Coast Park (Race route is not confirmed and subject to change)

 

All participants and finisher of 10km, 21km and 32km SG Run 2019 will each receive a Ultimate Direction running singlet, Finisher T-shirt, finisher medal and an e-certificate. Trophies will be awarded to the Top three finishers of each respective race categories and all winners will be based on gun time. Age is taken as of event day. Minimum age : 16 years old and above.

All participants and finisher of 5km SG Run 2019 will each receive a Ultimate Direction event T-shirt, finisher medal and an e-certificate. Minimum age : 7 years old and above. 

Race Pack Collection

Venue : Marina Square (Link Bridge Atrium)

Date :  12 & 13 Oct 2019
Time : 11am to 7pm

By entering the race, you declare that you agree to abide by the rules of the race and accept full responsibility for your actions (and the actions of your supporters) throughout the day of the race. You can confirm that the medical details provided are accurate as of the time of submitting your entry, and you will be responsible for providing updated medical details to the organisers on the date of the race should my medical circumstances change. You also agree that any videos or photos taken during the event can be used by the race organisers for marketing purposes. 5 Km Fun Run
Minimum age : 7 years old & above

The 5 km Fun Run is designed to encourage kids, adults and the whole family to participate in a running event. Runners and walkers are given ample time to complete the 5km and everyone is encouraged to come out and have FUN!

Bring your husbands, wives, kids, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents, you’re never too young or old to have a good time! All 5km Fun Run participants will each receive an event T-shirt during the race pack collection and a finisher medal. This is a non-competitive race, hence participants of this race category will not be issued with timing chips. Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to accompany any child 8 years and below during the run, failing which, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to the participant. The an easy 5km (approximate distance) Fun Run will take place within Gardens by the Bay.

10 Km
Minimum age : 16 years old & above

10km is a mid-distance race; however it still poses a challenge for many recreational runners. Runners participating in the 10km should undergo some form of training prior to entering the race. This race is ideal for recreational runners and runners looking to challenge themselves in their first distance race.

21 km
Minimum age : 16 years old & above

Half marathon is considered a mid to long distance race and appeals to mid distance runners. Runners participating in the half marathon should have adequate training prior to race day. The running distance also poses mental and physical challenge to those who choose to run the 21km. This is an ideal race for avid runners who are looking to work their way up to completing a marathon and also for runners looking to improve their current running base.

32 km
Minimum age : 16 years old & above

32km is considered a long distance race and appeals to runners who are preparing for their full marathon. Runners participating in the 32km marathon should have adequate training prior to race day. This is an ideal race for avid runners who are looking to compete in a full marathon and also for runners looking to improve their current running base.

Aid stations

There will be sufficient aid stations, water and sports drinks will be offered at all the aid stations and they are approximately 2km to 3km apart. As much as possible runners are encouraged to be self-sufficient as individual preference & suitability for hydration and nutrition defers.

 

Fully equipped ambulances and paramedics will be on standby along the race route and end point.

 

Baggage check in facility and its location
It will be located at the event venue near the information counter.

 

Cut off time

The cut off time for 10km is 3 hours, 21km is 4 hours and 32km is 5 hours respectively after the official flag off time.

 

Pacers
There will not be any pacers for this race
